Meaning of Phrasal Verbs -phrasal verbs are words made up of Verb and Preposition or Adverb Particle (across, on, in, down, about etc.). Using these, the language seems effective. You can never guess the meaning of Phrasal Verbs made from that Verb only by knowing its meaning. The only solution is to memorize them by rote.
